CT can help you plan your oral surgery precisely. The resulting minimally invasive technique means there is much less pain, faster recovery and fewer complications. The patient can receive a fixed replacement sooner. After the surgery, the oral cavity is scanned and sent to the technician. Thanks to digital design, the bridge can be made much faster by carving or printing.
An elderly lady came to us complaining that her crown had broken off, tooth and all. She wanted an immediate solution. We pulled out the root under local anaesthetic and immediately screwed in the implant. We glued the old crown back onto the implant. The procedure took only 1 hour.
Restoration of complete edentulism in 2 days with immediately loadable Swiss IHDE implants and PMMA plastic bridges.
An impression was taken with an intraoral scanner after implant placement, and the dental technician used this digital template to create the digital design of the bridges and then carved them out of plastic.
We were able to do this quick job in just 2 days with the help of implants that could be loaded immediately and the digital impression and design.
In 2 days we created this beautiful, aesthetic, lower, upper round bridge with implants to support a previously neglected mouth.
On day 1, we removed 26 teeth because they were in such bad shape and immediately placed immediately loadable IHDE Swiss implants, 8 on the top and 6 on the bottom. The wounds were sutured and digital impressions were taken with an intraoral scanner.
After 2 days, we glued the finished PMMA plastic bridges in place.
Fixing a neglected mouth. After a thorough oral hygiene treatment, a patient with bad teeth and inflamed gums had to have his upper left teeth removed, but was immediately implanted and fitted with a temporary bridge within 2 days. The surgery was planned using CT scan and an intraoral scanner was used for the impression.
Due to the absence of an upper incisor, the remaining canines have grown in next to the large incisors. This situation was not aesthetically pleasing for the young patient, quite understandably.
We wanted to improve the appearance by transforming the aggressive-looking, misplaced canine into a natural-looking incisor. We chose a minimally invasive procedure that did not require grinding down the teeth for a crown, but instead transformed them using a filling material. We did not grind or drill the teeth, but layered the filling material on the outer surface. Without anesthesia we were done with the 2 teeth in 1 hour.
The patient came to us for the restoration of worn, discolored and irregular upper front teeth. It was agreed that we would fit the upper front 6 teeth with metal-free crowns, as they could no longer be aesthetically and permanently restored with fillings. After the design, we prepared the teeth for the crowns under 4x magnification to ensure that they would fit together as accurately as possible. After grinding, we took digital impressions, i.e. scanned the prepared teeth. The technician first made temporary plastic crowns from the scanned sample to check the new smile, and only then was the final zirconium work done.
